SPECIAL DESIGN FEATURES:

  • These are single stage end suction centrifugal pumps correspond to the german standard DIN 24256 and international standard ISO 2858 in capacity and dimensions

  • Volute casing
    The single cellular spiral - foot mounted volute casing is provided with axial end suction branch and central delivery branch

  • Impeller

  • Closed or semi open radial impellers are hydraulically balanced either by providing back vanes or balancing holes to reduce the stuffing box pressure and the axial load

  • Impellers are also dynamically balanced, results in vibration free - low noise operation which lengthens the life of bearings

  • Stuffing Box Cover
    Shaft seal can be provided with the following combination

  • Gland packed stuffing box, with or without cooling

  • Mechanical seals, with or without cooling, balanced or unbalanced

    • Bearing housing
      The bearing housing is constructed in one piece, carrying the generously dimensioned shaft in bearings and can be supplied with the following combinations,

      • Two deep groove ball bearings, grease lubricated

      • A double row angular contact and cylindrical roller bearings, oil lubricated

      The shaft is fully protected from the pumping liquid by compartmented teflon rings between the impeller nut and impeller and impeller & shaft sleeve. This arrangement also reduces the air leakage along the shaft through the cavity between shaft and shaft sleeve

    • Flanges
      Flanges can be provided as per DIN, ASA and BS standards

    • Back pull-out design

      • To remove parts subject to wear, the entire bearing housing together with the stuffing box cover and impeller can be withdrawn towards the drive-end as a complete sub-assembly. This enables the pump rotating unit to be removed without disturbing the pipe work

      • If spacer couplings are to be used the driver remains in position as well, and there is no need for any realignment after reassembling

    APPLICATIONS:

    • These pumps are suitable for delivering all pure to slightly contaminated liquids in the temperature range from - 80°C to +250°C and under operating pressure up to 20 kg/cm²

    • Pumping clear or turbid water, cold or hot water, for

      • Industrial applications such as heating, circulating, boosting, fire fighting, refrigeration and air conditioning

      • General irrigation and sprinkler systems

      • Water supply schemes for, multistoried buildings, hotels, commercial complexes etc

    • These pumps can be employed in chemical, petrochemical and process engineering for

      • Circulating liquids

      • Delivering liquids under a system pressure

      • Exhausting from equipment under vacuum

    MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION All wetted parts of cast iron / cast steel / gunmetal  bronze / s.s. 316 / alloy 20, pump shaft of carbon steel / stainless steel and stuffing box with gland packing / mechanical seal can be supplied against specific requirement.
